COVID-19 Business Continuity Update

COVID-19 Business Continuity Update

Measures we are Taking to Continue Supplying Medical Professional Footwear Safely During the COVID-19 Crisis.

We are still fulfilling online orders. However, due to the ongoing situation our postal and courier services are currently unable to guarantee postage times. This means that when next day delivery is selected, although we ship on the same day and pay for the premium service, they are not able to guarantee the next day delivery. Where free delivery is selected, this could take longer than the usual 3-5 working days. The Royal Mail has currently suspended all Saturday deliveries.

PLS Medical Ltd are taking business continuity measures to ensure that we will be able to continue to provide footwear to medical professionals and NHS trusts safely throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis.

Below are some of the measures we have taken to ensure we can continue to supply professional nursing shoes:

  • Advance stock ordering to ensure we meet demand, particularly the increased demand for washable footwear.
  • Working with customers when the desired style is not available to ensure we find the best possible alternative.
  • Keeping the workplace safe by regular sanitisation and limiting the number of staff members in any area at one time to one. Colleagues working from home wherever possible.
  • Working with our delivery partners to ensure continued service throughout the period.

If you have any questions about the above measures or would like any further information, please contact us via [email protected] or via our contacts page here.

Any further information or measures will be updated on this page.
