No Planet B – Our Commitment to the Environment
PLS Medical Ltd is committed to reducing our carbon footprint and supporting a biodiverse natural environment with healthy functioning ecosystems.
We are constantly striving to adapt our practices and procedures to support this ethos. This includes developing more eco-friendly products and packaging, avoiding single-use plastic wherever possible and looking for ways in which we can support the fight against climate change.
Eco-friendly Products
Our partners at Safety Jogger have been hard at work developing a range of eco-friendly footwear styles made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
Each pair of Morris S1P contains the equivalent of 10 to 12 plastic bottles, this makes them one of the most eco-friendly safety shoes on the market today. Both the fabric upper of the Morris and the comfortable footbed contain recycled materials. Even the laces are made from recycled plastic!
In addition to the Morris Safety Jogger will be launching the ‘Corn’ low-top safety shoe and the ‘Bamboo’ high top safety shoes soon, both made from recycled materials. Safety Jogger are also developing a range of vegan safety shoes to further reduce their carbon footprint.

Eco-friendly Packaging
PLS recognize that packaging has a significant impact on the environment. For this reason, we avoid all single-use plastic and only use packaging that is both made from recycled materials and is recyclable. This includes the innovative tape we use to secure your packaging.
All Safety Jogger and Oxypas shoe boxes are made using 100% recycled materials, certified by the FSC organization. This includes any outer boxes that are used to deliver the products to us.
In addition to our product and packaging commitments, PLS have a robust Environmental Management System, accredited with ISO 14001 (2015). We also keep an environmental aspects register to monitor, assess and reduce our carbon footprint.
PLS recognise that there is no planet B and we all need to do our part to ensure a healthy, sustainable Earth. If you would like to hear more about our environmental policies or have any specific questions, please contact us at [email protected]
